I have been looking for a long time for a gym that I would actually feel motivated to go to! After years of running and doing gym classes on and off, I was never motivated to keep a routine for more than a few weeks or a few months. First Wind has changed that - I actually look forward to going to gym class multiple times a week! I'm no longer making excuses to skip the gym.
The atmosphere is so welcoming and unpretentious that I feel very comfortable and at home with classes. They even offer extra amenities like bottles of water and showers that other local studios do not. I love that they offer a 50/50 class that is half on the bike and half weightlifting or at the barre, it is the perfect mix of cardio and toning/strength training - and you can't get bored because each session is about 20-25 minutes each. Every time I go I leave sweaty, exhausted and my muscles are firing the next day - exactly what I pay for!
I can't recommend Karen and her team at FWC enough!
