Station is a great addition to Bloomfield. Station is now in what used to be the old D'Amico's restaurant. The interior is just beautiful and there are two rooms-one when you first walk in and the second right next door through a hallway. We started with the heirloom tomato salad. The old bay seasoning in this salad was the perfect touch. The tomatoes and corn were so fresh. For drinks, I had the rodeo cowboy which reminded me of a negroni. Cocktails are around $10-which are about the same at most restaurants in the area. For dinner, that hangar steak was like butter! The potatoes and sauce that came with it were delicious too. My partner in crime had the chicken and he ate every last bit of it! So take that as a good sign!
For desert, we had the popcorn panna cotta. It was decent, but I wish I would have tried the lavender pound cake instead. We paid around $100 for two people with drinks, appetizer, two entrees and desert. I cannot wait to go back as I hear their menu will change with the seasons.
