(This is a review for the breakfast menu)
I went there on a quiet Tuesday morning. I was surprised to see the restaurant's sign as I am familiar with another Ôzeu restaurant close to where I live (in Montreal East) and had no idea there were others in the city. I am usually pretty reticent when it comes to chains but was not disappointed with my experience here.
The decor: Super branché, almost too pretty to be a breakfast restaurant. Definitely a place to bring someone you're trying to impress; I would be impressed.
The food: It delivers. The menu is affordable and offers quite a wide selection of breakfast classics. The presentation is pretty. The potatoes are major key aka to die for. And they have 6$ mimosas. What else can a girl ask for?
The service: Probably the only reason why I'm giving this restaurant 4 stars instead of 5. The waitress assigned to us was very sweet but when it came to give us the bill, it took her about 15 minutes although we had asked for it twice and were clearly in a hurry. There were only 2 people working in the restaurant and it seemed a bit difficult for them to deal with both the takeout orders and the few occupied tables. Maybe add an extra staff on week mornings?
