  • WORST "MOVERS" EVER!!! One star is too good for these bait and switch hacks! I have never written a review on Yelp before, but feel compelled to share my experience with this "company" to spare others from the dealing with the same mess we did. First their ad says "2 movers with truck for $49/hr", so that is what we booked. When they showed up, the one guy who could speak english looked around and told us since we had a big house full of stuff that it would be better to do a flat rate of $1200 instead of paying by the hour in case they had to make 2 trips. I might not be a math major but $1200 at $50/hr is 24hours!!! We obviously passed and took the $49/hr. At that point the english speaking guy left, and left us with 2 guys who spoke no english and were obviously not movers. One was short, chubby, and out of shape, the other was short and skinny, and neither one of them were capable of moving anything heavy...the whole point of hiring movers! My boyfriend had to move all the heavy stuff himself! After everything was loaded up, my boyfriend had to drive THEIR truck to our new house for "insurance purposes". In other words "our "movers" are not legally allowed to work/drive in this country". When we get to the new house the English speaking guy was their waiting for us and demanded payment before the truck was unloaded. When we said that we would like to pay at the end to see how long it takes them (since we were paying by the hour) he said they charge you the same price to unload as they did to load (and drive across town). Anyone who has moved before knows it takes way less time to unload than it does to load the truck, but they had all of our stuff locked in their truck and refused to give it back until we paid...so we had no choice. The total, even including the extra unused time at the end, came to $400, a big savings from the $1200 they were trying to charge us in the beginning! Now for the worst part....They scratched, dented, or nicked EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF FURNITURE OR APPLIANCE THEY TOUCHED! We have nice stuff, and hired movers to keep it that way, and they ruined everything! Hiring AAA Moving was a horrible experience from start to finish and we have been living with the consequences ever since! Do yourself a favor and hire literally anyone else!
