| - I wanted to like Thai'd Up. I really did.
You see, I love Thai food. Maybe a little too much, as my stomach lining can attest. I like spicy food that tastes great, therefore, I love Thai food.
One of my favorite Thai dishes is Thai fried rice (trust me, it's better than regular fried rice). I got Thai'd Up's spicy fried rice, and at first bite I thought I might have a new favorite. Alas, from what I could tell, the peppers were dry pepper flakes, not fresh chiles like I'm used to at my favorite Thai House in San Antonio. Also, the flavor was inconsistent throughout the dish.
The Thai Tea was great. Not the greatest, but it was sweet and definitely had fresh spices and herbs in it.
It was good, don't get me wrong, but it left a little to be desired. I'd give them another shot if I'm hankering for Thai food while I'm downtown (I work down there, so it's highly likely). Maybe next time I'll try the Pad Thai.
