I read some of the other reviews and I do not see why everyone is so down on the Four Queens.
The Four Queens is one of the originals where it all started back in the day and that it has held onto the grip of being a Casino through thick and thin is to be celebrated.
The Four Queens is filled with lights and glam. You can come here and not have to worry about the table minimums you will face anywhere near the strip. Even on a Fri, Sat or Sun night you will encounter table minimums for the evening ranging between $5 & $10 dollars. The Hard Rock is $25 to $50, you do the math per hand, per roll or per spin, and those figures tend to add up quickly.
I have been coming to the Four Queens for many years and will continue to do so. I once stayed in a room several years ago and it was not that bad, I believe it was less than $35 a night which isn't too shabby.
You see a picture of the Four Queens all lit up and you immediately think of Old School Vegas and the way things should be now. I see Casino's on the strip all lit up and it reminds me of nothing. It reminds me of something that will not be there years from now but chances are the Four Queens will be still standing.
The Four Queens like many of the Hotel/Casinos of Downtown have various restaurants and Cafés to eat out that are not going to break your bank roll.
Come enjoy Old School Vegas.
