| - Not too impressed with this place, maybe we ordered the wrong items?
Three of us went here for lunch. I ordered the spicy pork ramen, guy ordered the sushi bento, and girl ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl.
The spicy pork was not too bad actually, I'm half Korean so I'm pretty picky in that regard, and if I ever come here again I'd order that. The ramen, however, was very oily and did not have much flavor besides an aftermath of spice. I also felt like there was a lot of MSG as I was not feeling too great afterwards.
Sushi wise - not put together well (I think that's only because he was very busy), filled with imitation crab and not that fresh. Guy did not like his sushi.
Girl's teriyaki bowl had a hair in it so she had it taken back. She got a new one with less sauce and all in all, wasn't a happy camper either.
Regardless though, I'm giving this place 3 stars because of the following:
- The spicy pork was decent.
- The owner was working VERY hard - seriously.
- The green tea was delicious.
Lastly, I think they'd do a lot better if they were in a bigger place, they are doing a lot in such a tight spot. Food appears to be coming out at a slow pace because of the lack of space/equipment.
Oh and FYI, there isn't much room for eating in during the lunch rush if you're a party of 3 or more.
