Fred gives the appearance of an honest mechanic, but in reality is your worst nightmare. It took me three expensive visits to figure this out. The last visit happened to be a routine oil change on my old Yukon that typically cost $40. When I went to pay the bill, this time it was $120. I asked Fred why the HUGE increase? Fred lied and said he had my car up on the "racks" for 3 hours that day looking underneath the vehicle because it had an oil leak (he only had the vehicle a total of 4 hours). I knew immediately this was a lie, because I had driven down Charleston earlier in the day and my vehicle was still parked in the same spot when I dropped it off. But I didn't confront Fred right then, I paid the $120 and left. I let a few days pass and wrote Fred a letter saying I had gone to one of the news stations and they pulled security footage from one of the businesses across the street, and there was proof my car had not moved from the same spot all day. In fact, it was questionable whether or not Fred even did the oil change. Fred immediately caved and sent me a check refunding my money, asking me not to air my story on the local news. Fred Nazaryan is a scam artist. You have been duly warned. Stay away!!!
