  • So, in the world of pool service - these guys are in the Hall of Fame!! While trying to get someone to come look at our pool, I made appointments with companies for which no one showed up. I called a major pool supply company in town and they failed to show up or even call us back, and left many messages with different pool services with no returned calls. Then I called Gilbert Poolman and received a call back from the owner of the company, Jake, right away. Jake informed me one of his technicians would call me in 30-45 minutes, which happened. His tech, Rob, set an appointment for 9am the next day, and he arrived right on time. He explained what needed to be done, quoted me a price before we started - then he spent a couple hours cleaning the cartridge filter, cleaning the pool, testing the water then accurately supplying it with chemicals -- all while patiently explaining everything he was doing so in turn, I could in the future properly take care of the pool myself. There were no "hard sells", there was no "we need to be taking care of your pool", there was simply old-fashioned outstanding service by honest people charging fair prices. I would, by far and wide, recommend Jake, Rob and Gilbert Poolman as your clear choice for pool service. These guys are the real deal!
