  • I have attended Living Word Bible Church (LWBC) for over 10 years now - since April 2004. No church is perfect because no person is perfect but LWBC gets 5-stars in my book. This is a church where you can truly come as you are - for clothing that means everything from wear a suit to wear shorts and sandals and from your "level of faith" that means you can be a bible scholar or be attending your first church service in a decade. This church is committed to accepting you just as you are and not trying to change you. They preach and they believe that the churches job is to preach the Word of God and the Holy Spirit's job is to invoke change and growth in your life. Pastor Tom Anderson, the head pastor, is very much against religion...religion meaning man made rules that lack purpose. There are no rules at the church. As I said earlier, the church allows God and the Holy Spirit to work in your life versus imposing a bunch of rules to make you "look holy." One of the most unique parts of the church is that every Saturday night they have "Date Night Service" - you come up church from 5-6 PM and they watch your kids (and feed them) from 5-10:30 PM so you can have a night out with your spouse. Check it out! Life-changing teaching and solid worship music. Services are Saturday at 5 PM and Sunday at 8 AM, 9:15 AM, 11 AM, 12:45 PM and 6 PM.
