  • I finally decided to get Vitamix a3500 black stainless and expected that for a premium price I'll get a premium machine and service. Places the order over 15 days ago and after calling to figure out why it hasn't shipped it finally did. Now add another issue, the rep told me she'll give me an expedited shipping so I can get it 1-2 days before my departure, only to find out that it'll be around the 20-21st day after ordering I'll get the machine. Called back in and I can just tell that they don't need anymore customers, they simply don't care. Is it worth it to spend all this money to get through a lot of aggravation and shipping problems? (search on google, holiday season or not, many people had similar issues) For me the answer is absolutely not. There's plenty of machines out there that can do what this blender does and most likely minus the frustration. I won't be around for a few months anyways to receive the shipment, so I'll have the package returned for a full refund. Making a purchase is not just about the product, it's the experience as well. I'd have been more forgiving if the cost is not so high and the company is not as old and the best that they claim to be. Essentially, I have no problem paying a premium for the best of the best, but I also expect the best in everything. I have this review a 2 star only because I haven't experienced using the machine, and just give people's positive reviews the benefit when it comes to the machine alone. I won't be coming back and will tell my community about my experience if they ever think of getting a vitamix.
