I called tonight about my prescriptions. Crystal answered the phone and said I had a prescription Zyrtec ready. My question was is there a difference between the prescription one and the OTC one? Because I had just purchased a bottle of 70 OTC (my dr didn't tell me he was prescribing it) She told me it is the same exact thing. My next question was if it's the same thing then why do they prescribe it at all? I was just a little confused and since I've been dealing with such horrible allergy/asthma problems, I wanted to be 100% sure I was going to be okay just using the OTC Zyrtec I bought and make sure I didn't need to get the prescriptions ones instead. She got a huge attitude with me and just kept saying "it's the same thing" I could hear her signing over the phone and the annoyance in her voice. Finally I just said okay and googled it when I hung up. I feel like she should have been able to answer a simple question. I went in to pick up the other prescriptions I had waiting and Jasmine helped me (extremely helpful and sweet). I asked her the same question and she was nice enough to tell me that some insurances will cover the cost of it and that's why they prescribe it. Makes total sense now and it was a very simple answer. It may be common knowledge to them, but I just didn't know. It would be 1 star if it weren't for jasmine being so nice and making the experience better. If Crystal doesn't like her job or dealing with people's questions, maybe she should get a new one.
