Pulled in around midnight after a long day of travel. Checked in with digital key and picked my room 542 earlier in the day. All was smooth until we got to the hotel. Bypassing the counter help we went straight to our room. Noticed that the room was now 546 not 542. Not a huge deal. Opened the door and found the hide a bed pulled out. Bath room looked basically untouched but still had a few hand towels on the ground and the bed sheets on the two beds were not changed as if someone slept in them the night before. Went down to the front desk where we meet Ken. Ken looked very busy for it being midnight but was very helpful. Got our room ready in 20 min and offered a free pizza. We passed on the offer only cause we were so exsusted. It took us another 2 hours just to fall asleep. The room just still felt dirty. We were not even really convinced that the sheets were changed. It was hard for me to explain to my kids that everything was clean and we are at a hotel where transient happens on a daily basis. I understand things happen but this in my opinion was was to much. Maybe I was over tired but I did all the things that the app was created for still things gets changed. Why bother. Plus having an untouched room. That is basic 101 of running a hotel especially a chain as large as Hilton.
