| - 40 minute wait for a take out order on a Saturday night with only one table seated? Not sure how they are profitable and seems that this place has seen better days.
Instead of braving the crowds at the newly opened Tandur Indian Kitchen in SouthPark we called in an order of tikka masala, saag paneer, lamb samosa, chicken pakora, and some naan. We called ahead, they said it would be 20 minutes, and I arrived with five minutes to spare, thinking I could pay and be ready to go back home ASAP. It appears there was only one person in the kitchen and one person out front.
Not the worst Indian food I've had, but I was disappointed in the low volume of cheese in our saag paneer. I imagine the experience for a lunch buffet is more positive, but takeout dinner simply didn't make me want to return. The reviews are decidedly split. There are plenty of other options for food in this part of South Blvd - check out Burrito Factory, Crispy Banh Mi, or Jasmine Grill.
