| - I wish I had read the reviews (Facebook) for this place BEFORE buying a groupon for myself and for my daughter. The "hairdresser" had to be told (by the owner, I assume) to put a cape on my daughter before cutting her hair. She didn't seem sure of herself and she had an odd way of cutting, she did do a good job on styling, my daughter asked for thinning of the bulk of her hair, the "hairdresser" started thinning the ends of her hair, my daughter told her where she wanted it thinned out and again she attacked the length of her hair, I got up and physically showed her where it needed to be thinned, my daughter asked for 1/2 an inch to be cut off she ended up with at least 1 1/2 inch being cut off, one side of her hair is visibly shorter than the other side, she was not happy. My hair was bleached for more than 30 minutes (the color girl, owner I assume) was dividing her time between 3 customers all getting highlights and all questioning why our hair was being bleached. There is a huge language barrier unless you are Spanish speaking, one lady asked three times why the highlighting was done this way and finally said " I really don't understand what you are trying to say". My hair cut (a simple trim) is terrible, the "hairdresser" does not know what she is doing, I need to have a real hairdresser recut my hair, not the good deal I was hoping for buying the Groupon. I was not given an option as to which color I wanted for my highlights, they use a "toner" which was rubbed into my hair after my hair was washed, I didn't even get to see it. As a side note, my head got burned by the hair dryer, my hair was pulled hard when the toner was applied, the thinning shears tugged at the hair hard enough for me to cringe. All in all not a pleasant experience at Bella Hair Salon. I do NOT recommend this place
Maribel M is the owner, her 5 star review should be taken down I'm pretty sure the other two 5 star reviews are her employees or family. Read Facebook reviews before going there.
