Check in was friendly and accomodating...we arrived several hours before check in and they found a ready room for us. Room was clean, comfy and modern.
First trip out to the pool we stopped at the bar and asked for a drink we'd seen on special in the handout that came with our room key. The bartender was very dismissive and claimed to not know what we were talking about. He tried to talk us into a pitcher for $22 and a blind man could see that 2 $9 drinks were all you'd get out of it....so we took out $9 drinks and were on our way. Two days later we went out with the handout and he examined to us that it was a promotion from last year...but he would do us a favor and make it anyway but we couldn't have the souvenir cup....whatever. The pool is huge and overall the bar food they offer is pretty reasonable.
We had brunch at the buffet and it was decent. No complaints at all. We also ate at the Chicago hot dog joint, tho we didn't have hot dogs, it was OK.
The worst part of the experience was waiting for a cocktail waitress while gambling. Drinks were sans booze and slow coming....
I enjoyed our stay but would prefer to move down the strip...it's just too far from the action.
