I've been a client of Ossington Tires for over ten years, purchasing car tires and having rims switched. For the last three, service has been slowly declining.
Today I arrived at 5:50 to enquire if they had a new set of tires in stock for me, or if they would need to order special. Three guys were hanging around outside the locked door, drinking and smoking. They turned out to be employees who then proceeded to tell me that they had already closed - official closing time was 6:00, so I had arrived close (due to traffic) but not late.
The boss, Bruce, was busy locking the door and had zero interest in letting me know if they had my tires in store, telling me to "get a life" when I asked him if he could quickly check on his computer - a 30 second task.
I would've been perfectly happy to return the following day for purchase and installation, all I needed to know today was if they had tires in stock or if I would have to wait a couple of days.
But after tonight's experience, I'll think I'll go to the competition.
