Disgraceful Protocol. (Dec 2017) Store has its own set of rules not abiding with general Apple terms & conditions. Can't pick up the phone I already bought online because I have a P.O. Box!
I bought my iPhone X online and had an appointment to pick it up at this location. I went to the store and the CSR laid my phone in its box down on the table and began talking about settings. Then I'm told since my address on my drivers license is a street address and my credit card I bought the phone with has a P.O.Box, I can't get my phone. We tried to get the online service to issue me a refund but it said I had to call. I had to use my own phone and sit on hold 45 minutes just for it to loose single and hang up on me! (AT&T) Store rep told me they had nothing they could provide me to prove I'd get my money back except that I'd eventually receive an email.
I left furious! I went straight to my AT&T store and picked up a new phone and was out the door almost instantly.
In my opinion, apple stores are only good to utilize AppleCares swap when a phone is malfunctioning or broken. I will never buy a phone from an apple store or online again!
