  • I am very happy with the pharmacy at Summerlin Costco. Most pharmacists are super lazy (I know because I have employed pharmacists in the past), and will not call the patient's physician to authorize more refills, or obtain pre-authorization for certain high cost medications to ensure insurance coverage. However, this Costco location has done both for me on several occasions, and I didn't even have to ask them. I truly wish that I could give this Costco pharmacy more than 5 stars. Both the pharmacists and pharmacy technicians at Summerlin Costco are highly "customer service" oriented, and it shows. Costco pharmacies in general are well known for having some of the lowest "cash" prices for prescription medications. One of my medications isn't covered by my health insurance, and I have to pay out-of-pocket for it. Costco's price for this medication is more than $600 less than other competing pharmacies.
