  • FYI you get 5 points for every dollar you spend on room service and charge back to your room! I spend about $800 for three night there, you do that math! That is why I've been here three times on January 2009 and two more on December 2008 and all the rooms were comp for a 3-4 night stay! The Venetian hotels have three towers, the Venezia, the Venetian, and the Palazzo and I've stayed at all three and Palazzo is the best by far for their design, comfort and for family. If you're gonna get it for FREE might as well stay at the best and when you reserve, go to the 35 floor on the 700 rooms. It has a view of Treasure Island and you get to see the Pirate action. I have kids and I always request that area. The pools at the Palazzo are better too than the other towers. They have more pools and more kiddy pools, again I usually take my wife and two boys here and they enjoy it. If you do have kids and planning on taking them, make sure they don't lift the drink and snacks because you will get charge for it. And, if the do just make sure you call front desk right away, they are very friendly and understanding. Another thing if you are taking your kids, request for the two queen bed, the sofa bed comes in a queen size too. If you request for the king bed the sofa bed comes in a twin size. Finally the only thing I don't like about Palazzo is that the Poker room is at the Venetian and you have to make that long walk to get to the casino and Poker is the only game I play when I'm in town!
