rev:text	My wife and I are in the process of moving from San Diego to Phoenix and we have decided under no circumstances will we ever work with or use Invitation Homes. 1 star is too many!! If you are a home owner looking for a property management company; this company will not be able to represent you best interest. If you are looking to rent chose another option. Here is our horrible experience. We found a wonderful house and just knew this would be the one for us. There was an option with Invitation Homes for a prequalifying option. Once we completed the app it required a $50/person payment. Kind of steep but my wife and I paid the $100. My first sign of concern was my conversation the following morning with LaNiesha. I wanted to confirm our app was received and to understand the process and ask about the area we are looking into. She was short and unpleasant. Answered my questions but no exchange of pleasantries and did not ask if I had more questions; just seemed like she was busy and wanted to get off the phone. The date we were looking to move in was 3 days more than the date we would be expected to move in. I asked if there was any room to negotiate the move in date and she said no. No explanation; just no. She then explained that we would have 48 hours to decide what we want to do once the app was approved. App was approved later and here is where it got tough. The move in amount required did not add up correctly so I attempted to reach Wilbur; who sent the approved app email. I called 3 times within a day and a half and got no answer. I attempted to reach LaNiesha and got no answer. I sent two emails almost begging for someone to contact me so I can have a couple questions answered before paying any money. Still no answer. As my 48 hours approached concluding I contacted the corporate office and they had no answer. I did find out one huge bit of information; If we decided not to go with this specific property; we would not be considered for additional properties without paying the app fee and running our information again!!!! I was shocked... Not only did I not want to continue to have my credit run; but I certainly did not want to pay the same property management company another fee for both my wife and myself... Again if I owned a property I would not use this company because as for me and my wife we will not rent any property managed by this company. Once we own a home; we will do our research to ensure we work with the right company with diligent but fair business practices. This is the first and only yelp review I have ever entered and it is because my experience with Invitation Homes was so horrible!! chose another company
