Horrible customer service.
I have such fond memories of going to Canadian Tire with my dad when I was young. This place ruined it for me.
It could be a great place. It is really well located and spacious, with lots of selection. But they need to get some more competent staff at hand otherwise I refuse to shop here.
I spent 20 minutes lingering around the paint section without anyone offering to help me, when clearly I was holding up paint swabs trying to make a selection. After heading over the the paint counter, I stood waiting a further 10 minutes just for some emo punk to show up and mix the paint for me.
Armed with a gallon of paint, a gallon of primer and a slew of paintbrushes and rollers, I was then told that I cannot PAY there but have to go up to the front.
NO OFFER to help me carry all this crap to a cash person at the front, or even get me a cart, when it was completely obvious I was struggling to carry everything.
The cashier was even more useless and stood there picking her nose while I tried to place everything on the counter without dropping it.
