I'll preface this review by saying I have been a loyal member of LA Fitness for the past 4 years. I decided to keep up my workout regimen while on the road on a recent business trip and came across this location near where I was staying. From what I have learned it used to be an Urban Active gym before it was bought out by LA Fitness and this location is by far one of the best I have ever visited in the chain.
I was amazed at the size of this gym and wide array of cardio and weight machines. It appeared to have quite the class schedule going as well during my few visits. I think many people in the area have figured this out as well as it was always packed every time I went. I love how they have machines on both floors and there always seemed to be one available and everything was in working condition. The indoor track that ran around the second floor was pretty interesting to find in a gym as well. My one gripe was that if you didn't have your headphones plugged into the cardio machine you were using, the tv would shut off. No need for that type of restriction when people are trying to workout and not get bored!
