  • I'm not a big coffee drinker (I usually get a chai tea) but I wanted something different today. I also wanted to buy a pound of coffee but had no clue what to get. I walked to the counter and had the pleasure of meeting a partner from Texas named Carla. She was so knowledgeable about every type of roasting method each coffee bean had undergone and how the methods affect the flavor. She even went ahead and described what food to pair with every roast to highlight the key notes of the coffee. She recommended I try an earthy/herbal roast. I LOVED IT. She was so helpful and friendly. I didn't feel like I was just another transaction like I do at other starbucks stores. It was a great experience. I love coming to this store. The baristas always create a welcoming and fun atmosphere. I know that it's the baristas' job to remember my name and drink but this team always manages to go beyond that and personalize my experience.
