I must give the Golden Steer five stars for exceptional service and for the classic 1950's steakhouse vibe. We patronized the Golden Steer for our wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. The food is very good. We had the prime rib with whipped potatoes and Caesar salad. The salad was the best Caesar I had in years, the potatoes very good. The prime rib was good, but not great. I don't hold it against the place as you never really know how a whole roast is texture wise all the way through. I would have preferred a touch more seasoning but that is personal preference.
I would highly recommend going there for the entire experience.
