| - Ok a few things to mention in this review. I did my due diligence and read this, and other review sites and saw the bad reviews. I figured I would go check it out anyways to see the place, the staff, and talk to some residents. Boy am I glad I did.
From what I can tell there is no more bad blood in the office. I met 3 different agents in my few times there to fill out paperwork. They held a unit for me that I wanted badly and worked with me because my job is 8a-6p 6 days a week. JEFF - Kudos to this dude he even replied to my emails on his day off from his cell phone. Get any other Apartment Leasing Agent (Salesman/Woman) to do that - good luck.....
Let's be frank. These were built in the 80's not 2015. If you want a brand new looking place go buy a hose they will gladly build you one brand new. For the price, and the AMAZING LOCATION, these places cannot be beat! The carpet is an older brownish color but guess what!
Unlike other places with white or cream color carpet I doubt stains and normal use will be an issue here. My friend was in a place 6 months at a different apartment complex and after 6 months just walking normally and his carpets were soiled and they hit him for $1,800 in new carpets from normal walking NO stains. No thanks.... I'll pass!!!
The layout here is also 2nd to none. The kitchen is in its own nook perse, and you have an actual SEPARATED Kitchen and Living room that does not look like one room with dining table and couch crammed together! The Washer n Dryer are OUTSIDE, not inside to run your A/C Bill up all summer long with the added heat! Plus you can't even hear them! Why? Because they are in a room with a door, on the balcony with a sliding glass door, and your bedroom door counts as 3 doors between you and the noisiest appliances of a home. WTG! Good Planning. Plus the HUGE room their in provides ample storage as well.
The appliances are ALL electric NO separate gas and electric bills, and trust me, the electric cook-top (all flat no old style rings here) is WAY faster at boiling a pot of water than is a gas stove!
The staff is VERY nice, The landscaping is equally as nice - would want some borders on rocks to keep them in place but that's me being picky. The lake is close by - shops, dining, gas - everything is just down the street! Construction on Durango and Starboard sucks, but once done we will have brand new paved roasds! Woooo hoooo. And they look over half done so not too much longer. The pool looks perfect and the exercise room is amazing :)
I had a few issues upon move in and Jeff was quick to get on top of them. The website looks older and the classifieds don't have any ads, idk that many residents know of the amazing feature they have online for them - so rather than submit my tickets online to fix the few things I told Jeff and he is on top of it. AMAZING! Love it.
ONLY downfall I see, is no Microwave. So wal-mart here I come $30 lol That's it. This place is amazing. Has some lawns - and HUGE grassy plains. Niceeeee. Well kept too not a lot of weeds or bald spots )
I say before you judge a book by it's cover you come in and see for yourself just how nice this place really is :)
