Since I last wrote, a few new stores have come in and the Transitions used clothing shop has expanded. It also seems a bit more lively, but perhaps it was just because I was there during the holidays. The place has a strange aura, especially with the odd hotel. But I've grown up in this town and have fond memories of hanging out there, especially at Christmas time. It is in no way your "typical" mall and I think that to compare it to other malls is perhaps the wrong way to look at this place. It is what it is and it certainly does have an interesting mix of different shops. It is in dire need of a facelift, but perhaps it's whole retro environment has a unique charm to it. I would give it 3.5 stars if I could.
