| - Solid choice for a preshow dinner before Ka! The theatre is right across from the restaurant.
The food was flavorful, and obviously of high quality.
The prices were rather steep. We countered this by ordering from the appetizer menu, and sharing a bunch of different options.
I feel like calling this place a Bar and Grill is a tad misleading. The overall ambiance is too fancy, and the prices on the menu are too high.
We tried:
- Steak skewers -- cooked perfectly to medium, which was a pleasant surprise!
- Chicken wings -- WOW! What flavor! Tasty, tangy, yum!
- Brussels sprouts with confit bacon -- delightful. The sprouts were cooked until tender and caramelized.
- Crab cakes -- tasted fresh. Plenty of crab meat!
Other members of our party ordered the Cobb salad, the calamari, and the truffle chips. Though I did not personally try these dishes, I heard that they were all solid.
Props to the server who made a mistake on our order, but rectified the situation without missing a beat.
If I'm ever in the MGM again, I would return. However, I would not go out of my way to come back. This place is just a bit too expensive for my idea of a regular restaurant choice.
