  • Went here because I got a 20% off coupon when I first moved into my new apartment complex in Matthews. I lived in NYC for a while and the most I've ever paid for my hair to get done (highlight/lowlight/cut/style) was $150, and they did an amazing job. Not so much for this place. The girl that did my hair took 4 HOURS and 45 MINUTES, she left a blob of dye in one of the layers and completely ruined one side of my head, cut off 4-5 inches when all I asked for was a TRIM, completely butchered the "style" which apparently was free for first timers. Then wait- it gets better. ALL of this, and she charges me $200!!!! That was with the 20% off, and NOT including the tip!!!! I'm not one to write a bad review just because I'm in a bad mood or something, but this was hands down the worst salon experience of my life. I feel the need to warn people because this was highway robbery for a simple full highlight and trim........ to this day I tell this horror story to people. I left that place and wanted to cry. Was 100% ripped off. DO NOT GO HERE unless you feel like wasting your money and time and ruining your hair.
