This spa transitioned me from folically negligent student to sleek maned yuppie. Jamie worked with me to develop a fantastic color & cut-- edgy and fun for the weekends, but tame enough for business settings.
Mad props to Jamie. I recommend her 150%.
The client relations, though, were less than stellar. I was a regular at MCS for about a year and a half, but my last experience left me with a sour taste in my mouth. I decided not to go back.
After booking my appt 4 weeks in advance -- because you can't get an appointment any sooner -- I got held up at work and was 45 minutes late for my appointment. I had called ahead and informed them of my tardiness. Instead of telling me then that I couldn't get a color treatment (which I was more interested in than the cut) they told me upon arrival, and then informed me that I would have to wait another 4 weeks before they could fit me in. They did not seem interested in working with me to find an alternative. They were unsympathetic and seemed to make no effort. They flat-out refused to give me the color to take to another saloon where my hair could be fit in for emergency attention.
Bottom line: while the color and cut were great at MCS, the prices were high and I did not receive the required personal attention to justify that premium.
