| - Ahhh, Kensington Market...
It's like a foreign planet inside Chinatown, full of everything you never knew you needed. :)
Organic juice bars, great ethnic food spots, hipster bars and coffee shops, and a whack load of vintage stores... Something for everybody here!
I took 1 star away because a lot of the things you'll find here are RIDICULOUSLY over-priced... Plus, I hate hippies... So much.
** NOTE: Black Market Vintage has a much better selection of vintage clothing for 1/3rd to 1/10th of the price..
However, the food is decent (some true gems here!) and it's a lot of fun to come down here on a sunny afternoon, as long as you can stop your head from spinning due to the overload of trinkets for sale, the crazy wall art strewn about the buildings, and the plethora of decisions at your disposal.
Have fun in this Bohemian bubble of Willy Wonka weirdness, and make sure to buy your clothing elsewhere in the city...
** TIPS: i) Watch for cars and weirdos. ii) Bring a camera! :)
