On the recommendation of a local restaurant/bar owner my sis and I visited Dish one Thursday night. From the moment we sat at the bar we felt welcome and comfortable.
The owner milled around in all his spicy Italian-ness, greeting people, talking to vendors and chatting with the staff. The wine list was really good and the cocktails were delish.
Let me get to the food though, the real star behind this production. We enjoyed an eggplant appetizer that was finger-licking good and my "Linguine ai Frutti di Mare" nearly brought me to tears with a broth so savory yet delicate that I had to take a moment to myself.
The restaurant filled up fast, since it's pretty tiny but if you get there early it's no problem. I would visit this place again and again, just to have this dish. Made me want to sing an aria..lucky for my fellow diners I resisted.
