Been here twice and do not plan to come back again. First time I came here w coworkers for an outing. Service was great but food was not all great. I went back again but this time brought my bf to get his opinion.
The cons:
Tako and tuna poke is very bland. Miso soup barely has any tofu and the seaweed is paper thin. The takoyaki is frozen as it's quite mushy when bitten into. Had quite a lot of hand rolls and it was quite bland so I decided maybe it needs to be rolls instead but it was still bland. I noticed for basic rolls, they add a bunch of other ingredients in which, imo, ruins the taste of it. For instance, Phillip roll should only have avocado, cream cheese and salmon but they add eggs and cucumber.
The pros:
Nigiri sushi are yummy. They actually put less rice just like at Sushi Neko. They actually have salmon and yellowtail belly which is good. Tako wasabi was pretty good too! Green mussels was flavorful. They can pretty much make all rolls into handrolls.
So all in all, both experiences weren't that great. IF I wanted only Nigiri, then maybe I might go there.
