SOFT-SHELL CRAB BAO!
Now, normally that's all I would need to say concerning this matter and just walk off leaving this review just like that. But, it bears emphasizing that not only did Tom create one of the most unique sandwiches I have ever eaten, but he also created an experience that I never had before. The lovely Emily, the server, who very promptly greeted me upon entrance to Fat Choy located inside near the back of the Eureka Casino made sure I had a nice seat at the bar and there my feast began.
I actually came in here to grab one of the legendary Pork Bao sandwiches along with an order of the Short Rib Grilled Cheese sandwiches to go. But, my entire plan got spun around when Emily suggested that I atleast try Tom's tender, delicately crunchy, and generously meaty Soft-shelled crab creation. Yes. You heard that right. It was a perfectly cooked SS crab stuffed mercilessly inside a freshly steamed bao bun. And baby, it was out of this world! Easily the best 8 BUCKS spent on a sandwich that could probably sell for 10-12 on the Strip. Say what you want about the neighborhood, the casino, and the 'decor', but......these people sure can cook at Fat Choy!
A must try if you are visiting Las Vegas.
We locals already know the deal. The lines easily go out the door on Sundays for Brunch. Ask for Emily, tell her Bryant sent you!
