She is pleasant enough, but I definitely feel like she is not very knowledgeable about her specialty. It makes me wonder what it takes for a doctor to claim a specialization.
But the main problem I had with her was her staff. They are all (with one exception) rude, inconsiderate and unprofessional. Trying to get an appointment was difficult, requiring leaving several messages at a voicemail (regardless of the time of day) and then getting a call back days later. When someone is charging a couple hundred dollars for a ten minute office visit their staff shouldn't treat patients (customers!) like they are doing them a favor by speaking with them.
Even in person I often had to wait for the people behind the counter to finish their conversation before being helped. They seem to be bothered and/or confused by the requirements of their jobs.
The one exception was Norma, she was the only redeeming aspect of being a patient with Dr. Mircescu.
When I finally had had enough and found a new doctor it cost me 15 dollars to get copies of my own medical records. Thats right, they charged me for the records that I and my insurance company had spent thousands of dollars generating. Oh well, it was money well spent to be done with her office.
