| - I looked around to see where I can get a decent haircut. This place charges $12 for a basic men haircut. They close at 7:00. I came at 6:15. I was in line waiting for about 20 minutes since there was only one person working though they have several stations.
The shop has a charging station for cells phones with iPhone as well as micro USB chargers. That's a nice touch.
At around 6:35, it was my turn. They asked me how I wanted my hair. I said, "Just make it look good." She responded, "so a trim!" She literally took about 10 minutes on my hair. She didn't really check to see if my hair is cut correctly or at the length I wanted. At 6:45, she finished. I paid $15, which is 25% tip and left. As soon as I got out of the door, they locked the door and displayed the "closed" sign.
I thought for a business, when you post a closing time, that's the time the last customer should be able to walk in and still get service. It seems like she was in a hurry to get me out, which is why my haircut wasn't all that great. My fiancee who came with me said she didn't see any difference with my hair except for the part around the ears. Normally, when I go to a $5 hair cut place in CA, they would trim the hair on my neck and mustache if I had any. This place did neither. Two weeks later, I had to go back to the barber shop in CA to get my hair cut again.
DON'T come around their closing time if you want a decent haircut.
