| - I'd always been wary of consuming Phoenix sushi. You see, a couple years back when I lived in Seattle, some Phoenecians paid me a visit, and practically insisted we do sushi. I said "don't you have sushi in Phoenix?". They said "yeah, but you'd have to be crazy to eat it". At that point, I made a mental note to stick to Mexican and steak if visiting.
However, in the early stages of a bad cold and craving wasabi, I couldn't help but give nearby Blue Wasabi shot. Especially considering they had patio seating and it was a great night to eat outdoors. Started with a fine miso, tried the PITA and something else I can't remember, but it had "Krab" (as did many of their rolls) and I actually like fake crab and both of their rolls treated me well. Didn't sample the cocktails, but noticed several fine-looking ladies around me who appeared to be enjoying them. Heck, I would have started a convo if not for the massive runs of snot coming out my nose at that point.
Service was great, and prices were on par for upscale sushi. I'd go back.
