  • This is our second time to adopt here. We got an adorable 3yo maltipoo that we loved right away. I do not understand people 'buying' pets when there are so many beautiful creatures here that need a good home. I see the staff are doing their best to take care of these animals the best they can. Adoption process is not hard. The staff will let you spend enough time with the potential pet to make sure you get the right choice. My dog was just neutered a day before, and the staff patiently gave instructions for care, meds and follow up with the vet. They give you the the most detailed info they could get about the animal- which may not be all available as as a lot of the animals are strays. Adoption fee was $200 for my dog. Dog will be neutered (or spayed), there will be a list of vets they'll recommend where the initial exam is free. Dogs will be microchipped as well. Sometimes they waive adoption fee during special events.
