| - I never used to get my nails done, but now I am hooked! Yes, if you want the blingy gems, it will cost extra - so know what you want before you get it. They range from $5-$20 each.
The first time I went I was getting a pedicure for my wedding and because of the language barrier, I almost paid double just to get the Shellac they were upselling hard on me. Luckily they clarified with me last minute and I didn't get the Shellac. Also, I see a lot of girls coming in asking for them to fix their nails that were done from another salon - the salon will immediately say no.
I've had many of their technicians work on me. The girls who don't seem to be permanent workers there are really bad with the cuticles. they will sand your cuticles down with the machine. This one girl had the audacity to blame me that my skin was too thin and that's why she cut me...However, the girls that are always there know their shit and don't cut me, so I now know who to ask and wait for - it does get quite busy on the weekends.
So their customer service is like any other Asian place: they really cannot handle complaints. I remember this one girl literally bawled in the chair to get her way: she was getting her nails done for her graduation and the technician did not do it exactly as she wanted. Like seriously? Your graduation is not the most important occasion to get your nails done perfectly. Anyways her acting worked, as the worker gave in to her crying and re-did all her nails haha. They also don't like when customers come back and complain about anything really. I always tune out when I hear them deal with difficult customers, but I know it is always a tense conversation.
Anyways, since I always know what I want every time I go, I get wonderful nails that last forever (until they grow out really) and all the workers know me and are nice to me.
