  • I have to say that the management and maintenance staff at this complex are the most incompetent, rude, useless bunch of people I have ever encountered. When I moved in, several items in my apartment were broken. I put in several maintenance requests and about 1/10 of the items that were broken were fixed. The bathroom had no shower doors and no shower rod, so it was impossible to bathe. Apparently this particular unit was subject to a walk through by an apartment manager. The lack of shower doors, broken door handles, doors that didn't fit in the frame went unnoticed. I continue to put in maintenance requests and nothing gets addressed because the maintenance staff works from 9 am to 2 pm! If only the rest of us could work 25 hours a week, but alas, we are not privileged enough to be maintenance staff at Mountainside. I found this property through a property locating service. Mountainside refuses to pay the fee of the property locating service and just openly lied to the service and told them I found the property on my own. So, integrity is not their finest asset. The quality of people living in this complex is particularly low as well. Although conveniently located, this complex has no other redeeming value, unless you want to live in a unit with no shower doors, ill fitting interior doors, crooked appliances and fans that are improperly mounted in the ceiling.
