| - My husband and I shopped around a lot for my engagement ring before going to The Jewelry Exchange. I knew that I wanted a black diamond. Immediately, the super helpful sales lady (Lillian) said "I think we have a loose black diamond in the vault, let me go check." When she brought it out, I think my eyes about popped out of my head. It was so much bigger than anything we had been looking at in other stores and I couldn't believe it was within our price range. I was able to try the stone with many different bands and pick out the combination that I liked, and then they custom made it for me. I LOVE my engagement ring so much, it's really unique and I get so many compliments on it. My only complaint is that the prongs which hold the large stone in place sometimes loosen slightly and occasionally a strand of my hair will get stuck in it and ripped out of my head. When I take it in for cleanings, I usually ask them to secure all of the prongs, but eventually I end up losing hair again. We decided to go back later to get our wedding bands. Sadly, within two days of our wedding, I lost one of the small stones from my wedding band. I called and was told that they have a one year warranty, to bring it in and they will repair it. As soon as I get it repaired, I will definitely be getting both rings appraised because I have a feeling my engagement ring is worth a lot more than we paid.
