The place has to be good when all I have to bitc% about is the parking lot mess and the long, never ending lines. If you don't have a shopping pattern, I highly suggest you get one fast or else someone will run your ass over.
There are always new product hitting the floors with the usual suspects. The produce is fresh, meats are bright red, and the seafood is even reasonably priced. Decent wine and bakery selection make this place close to a one stop shopping center.
The snack stand is huge with really cheap eats. I know people that go here just for lunch and why not, $1.50 for a foot long??
20 items that are on my regular shopping list or I am always in the market for that I have compared per unit price with a regular store like Giant Eagle, Target, etc. are:
1) Allergy pills 13) Olive and canola oil
2) Dog Treats 14) Mac and Cheese
3) Toilet paper and paper towels 15) Rotel
4) Dishwasher and Laundry soap 16) Vitamins
5) Sandwich and freezer bags 17) Shampoo / Conditioner
6) Meat (Thicker cuts and better quality) 18) Toothpaste
7) Napkins 19) Advil
8) Butter 20) Most Electronics
9) Cheese brick
10) Clothes
11) Chicken Noodle Soup
12) Kraft Parmesan
I save a lot of money using Costco and wouldn't know what to do without it. So do yourself a favor and get a membership. I think they will let you take a tour first, so try that and then make the decision.
