  • Not worth the hassle...I bought tickets for my husband and I. We got there and noticed that the room is LOADED with tables and chairs in a long school cafeteria style format. The tables were so close together that it was nearly impossible to squeeze between them. I watched many people struggling to get to their seats. Each table is about 18 inches wide. You are sat across from your guest. Our seats ended up being in the middle of one of these long rows...what a joke (punn intended). After about 10 minutes of feeling like I wouldn't be able to escape if an emergency arose, I got up, made my way out and found a manager. There are a number of seats along the walls and in the very back that are more spread out. I asked, when we arrived and were being seated, if we could sit along a wall and was told no that they were reserved seating. When I got to the manager and asked about the seating arrangements, he came back to see where we were sitting. I inquired about the other areas and told him that when I purchased tickets it was noted that all of their seats were general seating. He explained that you have to buy a "bottle" to get one of the booth seats. A bottle? Not wine, but one of the higher ended liquours. Fine- no big deal, what about the other non-booth seats...They are "rail" seats he explained. Those are general seating and you can request them when being seated. I then explained that I did in fact ask to be seated in the back area. He was reluctant to reseat us because he said the house was sold out and they wouldn't be able to get anyone to take our existing seats...what? What about those people who arrive 5 minutes before the show starts? He offered us a desert to be sent to our table free of charge for the inconvenience. Oh well...I chalked it up to "Live and Learn". The manager came back in about 5 mintues and did reseat us along one of the rails. It was on the very far right of the stage, but at least we could breathe. Bottom line: Not worth the money. The drinks averaged around $10 a piece, which is to be expected. The do not allow food purchase to count toward your drink minimum. They do add a gratuity automatically which they do not tell you and by no means is the service any more than a 15% tip service. It is cramped and uncomfortable and because of this, I was never able to enjoy the show- even after we were reseated. Best Bet: Smaller comedy venues that have a little more of an intimate setting and allow you to get food for your two "drink" minimum.
