  • KEY POINT: For what it is-a DISCOUNT motel-it really is a fantastic deal. Stayed here with three friends this weekend for a grand total of $170... can't beat that price. I've stayed one additional time in the summer and had a perfectly acceptable experience as well. Now, when you sign up to stay here, you need to be prepared it is NOT a luxury hotel, by a long shot. You are not paying the $30 resort fee standard at nicer hotels on the strip, so don't be expecting amenities. I didn't even try to use the WiFi, the TV was tiny (no idea if it even worked, since we didn't use it), and the room itself had nothing extra. However, we chose this hotel because we planned to spend absolutely minimal time in the room, and we had a perfectly acceptable experience. Sheets were clean and towels weren't too scratchy. They shower has shampoo but no conditioner - I ended up swiping some from one of the luxury hotels on Saturday so my hair didn't feel like straw. Ladies, bring your own face soap etc because there's nothing in there for sensitive skin. It felt perfectly safe for our small group of girls. Ubers are easy to get and it's only $6-10 bucks to the center of the strip (Cosmo/Ceasars/Bally's area). It's also easily walkable to the MGM grand and that end of the strip; not inconvenient at all to go scrounge up food. The "room service" there is Dominos, which we ordered at around 7 on Saturday night and came in ~45 minutes. The rooms are definitely older and very plain - the sheets/blankets on the bed are quite thin, so if you like to snuggle down, ask for more blankets. There are lots of "bumps" and "bruises" on the walls and around - some more of an eyesore than others. No bugs that I could find (and after the other reviews, trust me, I looked). There's a very small standing wardrobe thingy to hang your stuff in, but not a ton of room if you have several people needing to hang stuff. The coffee provided at the registration room is brown-flavored water - do not rely on it for your caffeine fix. Summary: if you are going with a big group or looking to lounge around in a nice room and hotel, DO NOT stay here. If you are looking for a clean, safe place to essentially store your luggage and take a couple naps, this is your spot.
