I hadn't been to Bagel World in YEARS and I had a meeting in the area so I was really looking forward to having a fresh baked breakfast there before my meeting.
I even intentionally arrived early before my meeting just to come here.
I arrived and the place was very busy.
Numerous staff whisked past me -- so they knew I was there.
But NO ONE said a single word to me.
Not even a quick "someone will be with you in a moment." NOTHING.
I was standing there for five minutes, maybe more. Still NOTHING.
So I left.
They lost my business because they had absolutely no customer experience.
None.
It's awesome if you can do well on regulars that you treat like gold -- as you should.
But many a great business with lots of loyal regulars have died sudden deaths when those regulars just don't come back as often as they used too as they are enticed by the ever growing competition.
