It doesn't look like any of the other reviewers are horse riders, so that might be part of why I disagree so strongly about how great this place is. The staff was very nice, but the selection for riders wasn't very great. They have a wide variety of types of items (horse feed, boots, saddles) but very little variety of brands and prices within each type. I went to Prairieland to get a pair of English paddock boots. They only carried a few brands, but do carry Ariat, which is what I was looking for. They had four different Ariant paddock boots--two in the lower price range (zippered and laced) and two in the upper price range. I found some boots that would work for me at a reasonable price, but I was disappointed that there weren't more brands or variety to compare.
That being said, as far as I know this is the only store in town that still carries English gear, so I'm grateful for that! Just don't go expecting a lot of variety for English riders.
