I've purchased a few cars in the past from Findlay Toyota and they usually had some questionable business practices, but would end up being content with the deal I received. I will never buy from them again and recommend you to go to other places or manufactures.
I typically start with the Costco offers to see those deals and in that process they're supposed to show you the paper with what the offer is. In the past I've had to repeatedly ask to see it in person and when I did see the true Costco offer I caught that they're lying about the price. On top of that, they will try not to disclose the full amount of the trade in credit and hide it in the number they are giving you. This last time, true car had a great price on the cars I wanted which surpassed Costco and they would not honor it. Who would have thought buying two cars would be so difficult.
The last straw with me ever dealing with Findlay Toyota is that I left a deposit on 2 cars as it was almost 10pm on a week night and needed to get my son home. I asked if the check would be cashed and they assured me multiple times that it wouldn't. Low and behold, it was cashed and then started a game with the salesman Michelle Moneck and manager Rick Glenn. First, they sold or lost the keys on one of the cars I left a deposit on. Then it was like pulling teeth to get someone on the phone or get a response to email or text. Of course the moment I don't want to purchase because of their business practices they go dark. Luckily, I did get my money back, but will never be back again. Findlay Honda has such a nice buying experience and will take that over the "typical dealer" experience
