| - The service is great. I was helping a friend move to Phoenix metro, and we spent the prior day loading up a U haul. Before we left Tucson I told him that I was done for the day, and we decided that he was going to hire people to unload the truck (which I recommend anyways). I was exhausted by the time I got here. The front desk people were really nice, and had my water bottles, and my keys ready, as I checked in via the app. The room I chose did have an issue. The smoke detector needed the battery replaced. I called down, and told them this was unacceptable, as it was chirping every 30 seconds. The lady switched my room, and brought up the keys. She also went and got me some ice. She also gave me a credit for the breakfast buffet due to the inconvenience. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, and I liked the fact that the suite was of decent size for the price.
My only real complaint is very minimal. When I ordered room service the sandwiches/burgers do not come with a side, and a small portion of fries is 4 bucks, almost 1/2 the price of the burger. Also at other Hilton properties they usually have little bottles of Heinz condiments. When I ordered I got my food I received packets of ketchup and mayo along with a standard size bottle of squeezable generic mustard. The same is true at the buffet...packets of ketchup. Also at other Hilton properties when room service is ordered it includes a glass of ice water.
