I'm really particular about my hair. Having crazy curly hair with a mind of its own, not just anyone can touch it, let alone get near it with scissors. And having had some really bad haircuts in the past, I'm not going to go just anywhere for a haircut. Plus, I love Aveda so this is a huge plus!
Sarah has been cutting my hair for a couple of years now and she always makes sure I know exactly what she's doing to it. I started seeing her after my regular stylist left. She is friendly and personable (like the rest of their staff), and gives me recommendations for what products to use in my hair without trying to push me to buy them. I have never had color done there so I can't speak to that experience.
I love the freebies on top of it (hand and scalp massage, free beverages, make up touch up!).
The salon is a bit small, although they do a great job of keeping it tidy.
Downside is parking, but that's pretty much true for all businesses on Coventry.
A bit pricey for a haircut, but I'm willing to shell out the money knowing I'm not going to come out looking like Gilda Radner as Roseanne Roseannadanna from SNL.
