12. 12 phone calls and 10 months. That's how long it took to clear up a minor insurance billing error. I was sent to collections without any idea that I had an outstanding balance, since I had been told on several occasions that it was taken care of. Of those 12 calls, I got 2 returned calls and lots of promises that didn't happen. When I finally left, I asked for x-rays. Yep, never got those either. Definitely a "chain" store, with people working in multiple offices and many things driven by corporate policy. The dentist was fine, but apparently everyone else is struggling.
